About Our Track
The Strathalbyn race course is a boutique, picturesque track only 40 minutes drive from Adelaide. Organise a group of friends and venture to the region for a truly enjoyable day at one of South Australia's best provincial racecourses.
The Strathalbyn Racing Club was formed in 1922 by a group of south-coast racing enthusiasts. The popularity of the Club quickly attracted the attention of the Adelaide racing public who rapidly became regular race-goers of the Club.
Patrons enjoy panoramic view from the facilities, which together with the manicured gardens and a large expanse of lawned area and stunning rose gardens provides a pituresque setting. Strathalbyn is recognised as having a very friendly and hospitable environment and atmosphere for a wide range of patrons, especially families.
The Club conducts feature race meetings in November, January and May each year.
