Kimba
The Kimba Racing Club was incorporated in South Australia on 8 November, 1913. The Club's primary goal during this period has been to promote the sport of racing and to provide a social outing for the surrounding districts. The Club currently has 51 active sponsors and has the support of local and interstate patrons.
The Kimba Racing Club has achieved an excellent reputation for providing a high quality country race meeting.
In the latter years the Kimba race meeting has been the venue for the presentation of the awards for Horse of the Year, Jockey of the Year and Trainer of the Year for the Eyre Peninsula Racing Association. The region's main industry is agriculture.
