CLASSY CLARET was beaten 1.63 lengths behind Smother at Gawler last week as a $41 chance and should be in the mix getting up from the 1500m. BOCHEEVA is knocking on the door placed at his past couple, the latest beaten 0.51 lengths behind Tan Tat Gold at Strathalbyn. THE PUNK ROCKER wasn’t far away beaten 1.17 lengths in the same race.

ALI FOREMAN was placed behind Tropical House and The Sprinkler last preparation and strips fitter for one run back beaten 5.75 lengths behind Light The Night on the Parks. This looks his chance to break through. MIDLIFE CRISIS was a $4.40 fav when beaten 7.49 lengths behind Kick Your Knees Up at Morphettville back on Oct 18. He’s now with Kirsten Mooney, trained on track and should give this a big shake from an inside gate. Stablemate SANGUE ROSSO was beaten 5.64 lengths first-up from a spell at Gawler behind Kiss And Kaboom and he draws a nice barrier to improve. EMBERANCE has trialled OK for his return and has been specked at big odds early.

ONE WHIM is first-up for the Michael Hickmott stable and was well beaten in a good race on debut. He was placed in a Murray Bridge jump-out and ran 2nd in recent a trial here. CAER IBORMEITH was well beaten at her SA debut back on Jul 16 but has won two recent Morphettville jump-outs and looks an improver TENTERK is a 14-start maiden who has been placed on eight occasions and has been placed in a jump-out and trialled OK for his return. BEL HOTESSE has been placed at five of 14 and ran OK
when beaten 7.71 lengths behind So Polite at Morphettville last time. She maps well. SOUL SLIDES AWAY was a $2.90 fav when beaten 9.38 lengths at Clare behind Glass Bay and was 4th in a recent trial here. She draws well. ON TICK was good when beaten 1.7 lengths behind Justacclaim at Murray Bridge last time but draws wide. ROOMERHASIT is first-up in SA for Kirsten Mooney and did win a Flemington jump-out on Oct 24.

She has been placed here on her home track previously and looks perfectly placed. OH LOVELY NO won her maiden over the 2037m at Morphettville on Sep 3 and has been placed at both runs back beaten 0.93 lengths in 2nd behind Lady Lupara at Murray Bridge last time. She draws out but gets the claim and looks ready to win. Stablemate KING EDWARD was a 2.36 length Clare winner two runs back before being well beaten behind Lucas The Younger at Murray Bridge last time. THE HIGHLANDER ran well when beaten 1.39 lengths behind Tan Tat Gold at Strathalbyn last time and gets an inside gate with Jason Holder riding. YOUBEEFORTY was a Morphettville winner four runs back and gets the blinkers off from a good barrier. FIORA BLUE was a good winner in maiden grade two runs back at Gawler before being beaten 5.41 lengths in 7th behind Sandpiper at Balaklava.

WADAANA has been placed at two of three runs here and beaten 7.13 lengths in the same race at Murray Bridge. PRINCESS NOW won a Murray Bridge trial before she

He was beaten 3.69 lengths behind Outpost at Morphettville last time but draws a nice gate and should take some beating. LUCKY FORTUNA was a Murray Bridge winner last time out when a 1.76 lengths winner over SPIRIT OF FLIGHT, who is a winner at her only start here, but draws wide here. PRINCESS OF PALM was a soft 2.22 lengths Gawler winner two runs back beating Paganni and was good when 3.21 lengths in the same race. PRICILLA’S CHOICE is a two-time winner here and was a Balaklava winner three runs back beating SEE YA LATER BABY who was a $2.45 fav last time when beaten 2.18 lengths behind Magic Princess at Balaklava and gets the blinkers again. SOMEWHERE SOON resumes and won a Gawler maiden in May and has a jump-out and trial under her belt. She’s draws poorly. CHARLESFORT was a good winner first-up and then didn’t have a lot go right last time when beaten 1.87 lengths behind Immortal Shield at Murray Bridge. The wide gate hasn’t aided his claims. BLUE SPECIAL comes off a Bordertown win beating Whiskey ‘N’ Women and he should be in the mix despite a wide gate.
