From wedding proposals to producing multiple Fashion At The Races (FATR) sash winners both locally and interstate, the Millicent Racing Club is an event that should be marked on the calendar for the fashion concious.
In what is set to be a great day on and off the track, the Millicent Racing Club will hold their 2022 FATR event at the 3MP Millicent Cup, Sunday May 29th at the Allan Scott Glenburnie Racecourse.
Millicent FATR organiser, Helen Varcoe said it's a great opportunity for the first timers to get involved.
"The Millicent Cup is all about having a go and being involved.
"It's a relaxing atmosphere, but overall an experience that we extend to those experienced FATR entrants and those who may have been putting it off for whatever reason," she said.
There is an amazing raffle prize on offer, with all ladies entrants in the running to win, so why not give it a go!
The judges for the day have been secured, and they both have an established FATR resume of their own.
Sharon Lee Smith
Sharon has experience with both juding and winning many FATR sashes, including the Adelaide Cup at Morphettville.
Another that is well known in the FATR community, Kimmi has many sashes to go along with representing South Australia in the Myer nation competion back in 2018.
On the day the Millicent Racing Club have secured the services of photographer, Steve Chapple, who will be available to take photos to capture the amazing outfits that will be on show.
The categories on the day will include: Ladies, Mens, Duos, and Teens & Tots with a prize pool worth over $4,000.
Registrations (open from 11:30am) and photography will be held in the 3MP Marquee, so be sure to make your way there for a quick snap and then get ready for a great day.
