You can being your weekend away on the Friday and head up to explore the local region, then get ready for a day at the races on Easter Saturday 16th April. From there you can take a step back on the Sunday and take in some of the gorgeous wineries with a picnic hamper, sipping on some of Clare's signature wine, Riesling.

Immerse yourself in everything Clare has to offer from its arts and culture to tourist attractions, outdoor activities, local tours and family friendly adventures.
If we were to list everything you could take in, the race day would be here before we finished. But, for now, a few ideas you can note down for a long weekend plan are; the Reisling Trail, Jim Barry winery, Tour De Vines, Taylors, Clare Valley Art Gallery, Clare Golf Club or the Mintaro Maze.
After all of those activities you will need to replenish the energy stocks, and you aren't short of options; Skillogalee, Paulett Wines & Bush DeVine Cafe, Terroir Auburn, or Seed.
As you can see, you are not short of ways to fill your time around the main event.

Camping
Camping sites are available, but selling quick. The camping sites are un-serviced (no power or showers), but will have security onsite and access to the toilets.
Fashion At The Races
Clare Valley Racing Club will hold a FATR event, with registrations taken on the day. Keep across the Country Racing social channels for more information as it becomes available.
